Frequently asked questions
Can I stay at home during the works?
In most cases, yes. We seal off the work area, protect the rest of the house and clean up at the end of every day. If the works affect your only bathroom, we agree the best arrangement with you before we start.
Can the price change during the works?
The price in the proposal is fixed. It changes only if you ask for a change, or if something unforeseen arises that was not visible at the visit — and in that case nothing goes ahead without your written approval, with the cost stated beforehand.
Who chooses the materials?
We choose them with you. The proposal lists the materials and a reference price for each; if you prefer something else, we adjust the price before we start.
Do you deal with damp?
Yes. We start by finding the cause — water ingress, condensation or rising damp — because treating only the stain doesn't solve anything. The proposal explains the diagnosis and the solution.
How do I pay?
In stages, linked to the progress of the works and set out in the proposal and the contract. We never ask for the full amount before we start.
Do I need permission from the city council?
As a rule, interior works that do not touch the structure or the façade do not require a licence. We always check your case and, if any procedure is needed, we take care of it.
Do you work in apartment buildings?
Yes. We inform the building management, keep to the hours set in the building rules and protect the common areas during the works.
